It would seem there is a message in this book for every person with a painful time in their past, that the principles presented, at least in part, can be made to fit every situation. For me the fact that I survived some very bad times decades ago and am still standing tall is very comforting, even more so when you understand that one of the two people associated with my grief is, in fact, not standing at all but is deceased. This loss to the other person should be a sorrow that will last them a long time if not a lifetime. This, in fact, supports the book's notion that "Karma" will eventually level the playing field. I had been going along fine for decades until something flashed me back, an old photo, and all the old wounds reopened. Feeling overwhelmed with sad memories and anger, I needed to understand what was happening to me again and how to manage it, manage my painful past and keep it where it belongs. I'm glad I found this book when I needed it. Understand that the past is unchangeable but need never influence your present or future. I will likely read this book again sometime soon. When beginning this book you're probably in a funk so it's hard to stay focused. Put it down and start again, it starts to speak to you, knows your pain! I am using the positives given and am feeling better.
