This is my first review of any book, but after reading this superb book of poetry I felt inspired to give this author some recognition and praise. Each one of these poems seem to speak to the reader of something mysterious, yet profoundly close to everyone of us. His poetry is naked and goes straight to the heart. Unlike some authors, his words are clear and concise yet simple. Let me share one below:Here is a lake

These poems are the work of a mystic. Like Rumi, Joseph Bottone lifts the veils to a different reality, enters another consciousness in his poetry taking the reader - if willing - with him. He celebrates every day life and nature images. He speaks about relationship as in a Love poem, walking or maybe dancing ? the line between the physical and the spiritual for the Love of God. The meaning of the words is open to be interpreted by the readers need to seek and find, but always touching the soul.
